In June I had the opportunity to photograph Craig and Kerry’s wedding out at Stonefield Castle nr Tarbert.
Distance is never an issue as it gives me a chance to see some fantastic venues located around Scotland.
Upon arrival at Stonefield I got the chance to take a look around the grounds before finding the groom playing snooker. This gave me a great chance just to get accustomed with the venue before heading up to photograph the bride getting ready.
Everything was nice and relaxed at Stonefield castle and when everyone was ready it was time for the service.
The service was conducted by the local registry office which kept things simple.
With only 15 guests the wedding itself was very close and subdued which is exactly what the couple wanted. After a few drinks we started with a few group photos before heading down to the loch side where I was able to capture some great photos of Craig and Kerry.
I would love to be given the chance again to photograph at Stonefield castle as there is so much more to explore.
